At Saul Ewing’s Philadelphia office, a historic legal institution serving clients across a wide range of industries. Garden on the Wall® created a series of immersive biophilic installations that bring warmth, texture, and natural rhythm into the workplace environment. Spanning both the lunchroom and boardroom lobby, the gardens transform key gathering spaces into calming, visually engaging experiences rooted in nature-inspired design. The project features preserved lichen and moss compositions arranged in flowing organic patterns that create a cohesive sense of movement throughout the interiors. In the boardroom lobby, a large-scale garden installation adjacent to the reception desk establishes a striking focal point that softens the surrounding architecture while creating a sophisticated and welcoming first impression. Within the lunchroom, three separate garden installations positioned along a single wall, framed by existing windows, work together as a connected composition, bringing balance, depth, and a continuous biophilic presence into the shared space. By integrating preserved botanical materials and sculptural natural forms into everyday workplace settings, Garden on the Wall® created an environment that supports focus, collaboration, and well-being while fostering a more grounded and human-centered atmosphere in Philadelphia’s business district.
