Garden on the Wall® Congratulates Gensler for the 2025 REmmy Award Recognition

Fairfield, NJ – Garden on the Wall® (GOTW) announced today that one of the firm’s preserved garden installations proudly contributed to a project recognized at the 2025 REmmy Awards by the CoreNet Global Southern California Chapter. The project received People’s Choice: Peer Excellence recognition in the Greater than 50,000 SF category for a Confidential Global Financial Firm, celebrating excellence as voted on by industry peers.
The REmmy Awards honor outstanding achievements in corporate real estate, workplace strategy, and the built environment across Southern California. The People’s Choice: Peer Excellence category highlights projects that resonate most strongly with industry professionals, recognizing spaces that successfully balance performance, experience, and design impact at scale.
“We are proud to have contributed to this recognized project and to collaborate with Gensler, whose workplace design leadership helped shape a highly thoughtful and high-performing environment,” said Mine Hisim, Founder & Managing Partner of Garden on the Wall®. “Peer-driven recognition is especially meaningful, as it reflects how well a space performs in the eyes of those shaping the future of the workplace. Our role was to support that vision through biophilic design that enhances experience, well-being, and connection.”
GOTW’s preserved garden installation was developed in close collaboration with Gensler’s design team, ensuring the biophilic elements were seamlessly integrated into the overall architectural intent and material transitions.
“Biophilic design plays a powerful role in large workplaces, especially for global organizations where space must support both focus and collaboration,” said Hisim. “Working alongside Gensler allowed us to align nature, architecture, and experience in a way that feels intentional and enduring.”
“What’s equally important today is how design decisions impact long-term sustainability and occupant health,” said John Ozturk, Director of Architectural Sales & Chief Sustainability Officer at Garden on the Wall®. “Our preserved gardens carry the most third-party sustainability and material health credentials of any garden supplier, ensuring that natural beauty never comes at the expense of environmental responsibility or indoor air quality.”
Ozturk added, “We’re honored to collaborate with firms like Gensler on projects that are recognized not only for their scale and aesthetics, but for how they perform for people. That’s where biophilic design truly proves its value.”
