Portraits in Biophilia! In this stylish, upscale office building in Chicago, IL, two biophilic ‘portraits’ by GOTW greet employees each day with the inviting and rejuvenating effects of preserved nature. These mirror image gardens present a horizontal reflection of one another at opposite ends of the elevator hallway, with perfectly coordinated placement of moss and fern species on the flat moss canvas in identical patterns – reversed. Framed in satin black, these biophilic ‘portraits’ add a dash of elegance to the lobby, and some soft texture to the polished marble surfaces – a perfect reflection on the craftsmanship and obsession with detail offered by GOTW.
